Climate, Activism, and Work of Global Change Agents
The Lewis Global Studies Center is hosting two Leaders-in-Residence during the spring term, internationally renowned figures who address the crisis of climate change and the rights of the disenfranchised.
Sônia Bone Guajajara (February 11-15) is an Indiginous environmentalist and political activist whose advocates for indigenous rights in Brazil and is a leading voice for progressive change.
Zheng Bo (April 1-8) is a Hong Kong-based conceptual artist committed to human and multi-species equality by looking at the past and future from the perspective of marginalized communities and marginalized plants.
